We partnered with another organization to raise Heart Health awareness, conducted blood pressure screenings and provided valuable information to families.

Winter Clothing Distribution
Distributed winter clothing, jackets, etc. to children and families to help keep them warm during the cold days.

Christmas and Toy Distribution
Over 1,000 children received toys as part of our Toy Distribution where we partnered with The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank, Toys for Tots and Centennial Bank in Hollywood.

Over 130 costumes distributed to kids in the community for Halloween.

Annual back-to-school distribution where we provided backpacks, school supplies, school uniforms, food and games to children in our community. We distributed over 400 backpacks and uniforms.

Back to School Event
Annual back to school event where we provide school supplies, backpacks and school uniforms. We distributed over 450 backpacks.

Virtual Walkathon
We held our 1st ever virtual Walk-a-thon and Race in May. Our "Walk in the Name of Love" event allowed us to raise funds for Serving with GRACE. Your participation and donation helped us in our efforts to continue giving back to support our free community clothing and household store, as well as raise money for our scholarship program and back-to-school efforts.

Easter Basket Giveaway
Serving with GRACE distributed nearly 150 Easter baskets to children in our community. Special thank you to all of our volunteers who helped to make it happen. We were able to put smiles on the faces of many children this year.

Essay Contest and Laptop Distribution
To roll out our laptop distribution, we held an essay contest during Black History Month in February. Our contest ended on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Winners were contacted in March. We launched a second contest in April and winners will be notified in late May or early June.

Annual Toy Giveaway
Thank you to all those that donated or volunteered to help make our toy drive and giveaway a success. We appreciate every single toy and donation that was given. We were able to collect almost 200 toys!

Thanksgiving Food Distribution
Thank you to our friends at The Legacy Closet for donating food and turkeys to our organization. We were able to help families that received an unexpected blessing. We’re all in this together. And helping families is what we do!

Christmas Tree Giveaway
We concluded our distribution of Christmas trees as part of our tree and Christmas light giveaway. We are happy to have been able to shine some light in the community, during what has been a difficult season and year for most.
We were able to distribute over 160 Christmas trees to families in need!

2020 Back to School Giveaway
We completed our back-to-school giveaway, where we distributed backpacks and supplies over three weekends. We had to adjust our distribution due to COVID-19, but we were still able to distribute over 100 backpacks to those in need.
